Conserve Resources; Preserve Species

At Magee Marsh (Ohio) 13 May 26 during the "Big Week." The star of the day was a Kirtland's Warbler - the rarest warbler in North America.
Below are some shots from Lake Isaac - part of Cleveland MetroParks
On May 3rd, we were out at Bradley Woods (Westlake, OH) looking for warblers. It was a little early in the migratory pattern to see much, but we did manage to snag some other images. Someone pointed out an owl's nest far back in the woods. The obstructed view hid one or two owlets. You can see a hint of them.
April 28th was a productive day. We did manage a warbler or two and an oriole. The water snakes were a bit of a surprise but interesting subjects nonetheless.
April 26th at Columbia Station.
We want to share our enjoyment of nature in the hope that it will encourage others to get out and experience what is around them. The locations are local to us, nothing exotic or inaccessible. To the old line, "Take only memories, leave only footprints," we would add, "and share those memories with others to help conserve and preserve our natural world."
